Events
Maybe it's the great weather, but you won't find a city that's better at organizing and hosting an event than Downtown Greenville. Bike races, outdoor concerts, parades, food and wine festivals, you name it, good times live Downtown.

Red, White and Blue Fourth of July Festival
Each year, an estimated fifty thousand patrons attend the rollicking AT&T Red, White & Blue Fourth of July Festival in downtown Greenville. Don't forget to pack a lawn blanket and some folding chairs-because although the fireworks can be seen from anywhere downtown, the best views of the evening's whiz, bang, boom are from the cheap seats.

Fall for Greenville
The Fall for Greenville street festival has evolved into the business district's biggest and most well-attended event - bigger than Fourth of July and more popular than the Christmas parade. The celebration stretches eight full blocks, from the Hyatt Regency on North Main all the way to Falls Park, and includes side stages and children's areas on several side streets in between.

Greater Greenville Scottish Games and Highland Festival
There's more to Scottish culture than Mike Myers in a kilt, Auld Lang Syne, and drafty castles, and it's all on display at the Greater Greenville Scottish Games and Highland Festival. Extending a "fíorchaoin fáilte" or hearty welcome in a Highland brogue, organizers bring a little gaelic to Greenville with music, dance, official clan meetings, children's activities, demonstrations, and food.

Euphoria - Southern Exposure
Euphoria - Southern Exposure Experience provides Upstate foodies with four full days of wining and dining, tastings and celebrating. Past participants have included Rick Tramonto of Top Chef fame (and executive chef of Chicago's Tru steakhouse), Gray Kunz, chef and owner of Grayz in New York City, and Food Network's Tyler Florence, among others. Cooking demonstrations, food and wine tastings, as well as wine seminars led by certified master sommeliers (not to mention more than 250 wines from 125 different wineries) all make this a dining-out experience that's truly above and beyond.
