One of Downtown's Biggest Hits.
Once an old lumber yard, Fluor Field at the West End is yet another example of how a private-public partnership helped transform the Downtown Greenville skyline. Today, it's the Greenville Drive players who are doing amazing things with lumber. Thanks to Craig Brown, Greenville Drive President and Co-Owner, and the support of a city development team that recognized the importance of both honoring the traditions of the region and pushing traditional urban planning paradigms, one of the most beautiful ballparks in our nation calls Downtown Greenville home.
More about the Greenville Drive
"The strong sense of unity of vision influenced us tremendously. Talking to community and business leaders, they all had a pretty common view of Greenville, especially of downtown and its role in the community."

City drivers shuttle fans to Drive games on buses that the team owns. Off-season, the city continues to transport city residents. The team's messaging remains on the buses, reminding commuters that baseball season is around the corner. "That's just one example of the great, mutually beneficial relationship between the
private and public sectors."

Fluor Field at the West End is a shining example of how Downtown Greenville City development leaders assist innovative business leaders.
"We've received great support from the city leaders. This has been a strong public/private partnership model, exemplary for people not just in South Carolina, but across the country."
